1. Introduction and Scope
This Privacy Policy applies internationally to the Processtec website and to personal data that visitors provide via online forms, email and phone. Processtec processes only data that are necessary, proportional and permitted by applicable law. The policy does not apply to external services not operated by Processtec.
The website does not offer user accounts or customer login areas.

3. Data Categories
Processtec may process name and contact details provided voluntarily, professional information such as company and role, communication content from inquiries, order, payment and delivery details when a contract is executed, technical server logs including IP address and browser type, phone related identifiers, and identifiers from strictly necessary cookies.
Processtec does not collect sensitive personal data through the standard website process and does not maintain customer accounts.
4. Purposes
Data are processed exclusively for responding to inquiries, technical support, contract execution and deliveries including drop shipment, website security and abuse prevention, compliance with statutory commercial, transport, customs and tax duties, and establishment or defense of legal claims. Processtec does not use data for marketing, newsletters, analytics, profiling or cross context advertising.
5. Legal Bases
For EEA and UK visitors Processtec relies on performance of a contract or steps prior to a contract, legitimate interests for security and infrastructure protection based on balancing tests, and legal obligations for accounting and record keeping. For Switzerland and other regions the processing is based on necessity, proportionality and statutory permission under corresponding national laws, including Swiss DSG 2023, POPIA South Africa and PDPA related regimes in Asia.
6. Recipients
Recipients are limited to:
• Hosting providers, including bare metal infrastructure providers, acting as processors on the basis of Data Processing Agreements and only on our instructions;
• Logistics partners and carriers acting as independent controllers when they process data to comply with their own statutory transport, customs or record keeping obligations, and acting as processors when they handle data solely for the execution of Processtec deliveries on our instructions;
• Professional advisors bound by confidentiality when disclosure is necessary for lawful compliance or defense.
Processtec does not disclose personal data to recipients for any other purposes.
7. International Transfers
Transfers to third countries occur only when initiated by the visitor or required for delivery. Where legally required Processtec uses the 2021 EU Standard Contractual Clauses together with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and performs Transfer Impact Assessments.
No transfer from Switzerland, the EU or the United Kingdom takes place without a valid legal mechanism.
8. Retention
Inquiry data are stored for a maximum of three years if no contract results; order and delivery data seven to ten years according to commercial law; security logs a maximum of twelve months and anonymised earlier where feasible.
Data are deleted earlier whenever lawful requests require this and no overriding legal basis exists.
9. Security
Processtec applies appropriate technical and organisational measures, including access controls, encryption where available, secure communication channels, confidentiality training, data minimisation and regular review of security measures.
10. Rights and Cookies
Visitors worldwide may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection according to applicable law. California residents may exercise rights to know, delete and correct under CCPA standards and may opt out of sharing if practices change in the future.
The website uses exclusively strictly necessary cookies. No consent banner is required under current usage. If cookie usage changes, consent will be obtained prior to activation.
11. Other Provisions and Amendments
Processtec does not conduct automated decision making producing legal or similarly significant effects and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Identified child related data are deleted without delay.
Processtec publishes updates with the effective date and keeps the current version accessible.
